Wedding Dress Dry Cleaning Process

We follow the manufacturer’s care instructions, however, if there is no care label we will use our years of experience to clean the gown using the most suitable method we feel appropriate to the gown in question. If we feel we need more information from the manufacturer we will contact you before proceeding.

The preservation process starts with a thorough inspection of the garment, after locating obvious areas of attention – loose hems or intricate beading – we examine the gown for individual stains. Then, we clean each stain individually, and protect or remove, if we deem it prudent, ornamental beading before the cleaning process. Next, our finishers press and iron the gown by hand, carefully following the designer’s lines. Finally, our dry cleaning personnel evaluate the dress to ensure you’re receiving it in the best possible condition.

Since you have invested a great deal of effort, emotion and expense in its purchase, the cleaning and preservation of your bridal gown, is something that you should plan for now. Our company possess a special talent for wedding dress dry cleaning and preservation and for all specialist garment care. We treat each dress individually, as no two wedding dresses are the same. Our fine attention to detail means the dresses are preserved for longer. We assume full responsibility for your dress whilst in our care and all our work is fully insured. We also offer a nationwide collection and delivery service throughout Ireland for those who prefer that.

Collection And Delivery Service

We work with DPD couriers, the best in their field for precious garment transportation. To book this service please Contact Us and we will arrange with you a suitable day to arrange the courier.

Care: Please place your dress in a clean, suitable box, secure with tape and write our address clearly on the front of the box.

Collection: On arrival, our courier company will scan your order and issue you a consignment number. We will contact you as soon as we have received your gown and inspected it to give you an overall price for the service. At this point full payment will be taken to clean your gown and carry out repairs and preservation if required.

Cost nationwide: The cost for the courier service nationwide is €25 each way, which will be added on to your order.

Insurance: Our Courier partners also offer insurance against loss or damage by the courier company itself up to a value of €5,000 for the payment of an additional premium. Please let us know if you would like to opt for this insurance at booking stage. The cost for this is an additional €10 each way. Your dress is fully insured once we receive it in our premises.

Our Dry Cleaning Process:

Once we have had time to assess your wedding dress, we will contact you to discuss the most suitable method for cleaning your wedding dress and a price for cleaning & preservation if required. Afterwards, we always contact our customers to discuss the result of the cleaning process. Similarly, if your dress is being delivered back to you, when you are in receipt of your delivery, we ask that you immediately remove your order from its packaging in order to inspect and confirm its safe arrival with you.

How much does it cost?

Wedding Dress Dry Cleaning costs on average between €140 and €200, as the price depends on the fabric, beading and degree of soiling on the dress; the more detailed the dress, the more it will cost. If you would like to avail of our preservation service, it will cost an additional €85 for standard boxes and €100 for larger boxes (suitable for princess style gowns).

How long does it take?
